“I thought it was a bit creepy at first, and I never would have used dating sites back home,” she says. Abigail Claire, 26, who moved to Manhattan nearly five years ago, is a U. “There’s a guy who I dated for five or six months and I just moved to his neighborhood,” says Abigail.

I read comments mentioning Brits and Aussies and their attitudes to men/ style/ promiscuity etc, and am appalled at the level of ignornace shown.

Difference between American girls and Australian, that i found was that American tended to be more into head games and open and challenging emotionally.
Still go for British girls for a fun night out though...
This talk of British women being 'stuck up' and ' stand-offish' is just another form of prejudice and, a rather lazy, stereotype.
You can accuse individuals of being either, but not a race. I have met both English and Australian snobs and can't say one was more endearing than the other.
(not that i could, i'm married )I saw a survey recently that indicated that British women were the most promiscuous in the world.
I see them as very liberated but leaning towards fun and empowerment (and drinking), as opposed to American women who are liberated towards career.
